We stained coronal sections of coyote brain tissue to visualize cell bodies, neuronal nuclei, myelin, excitatory synapses, and oxytocin and vasopressin receptors in the olfactory bulb. This work contributes to the comparative neuroanatomy literature and informs our understanding of the role of olfaction in coyote ecology.
